Course Description
One Trimester 1/2 credit Grades 10 - 12 Course fee: $25.00 Prerequisite: ProStart 1
This course will examine the history of the food service industry along with baking, preparing meats, soups, sauces and stocks. Other units include: creating menus and business ownership. After completion of both ProStart 1 and 2 along with hours working in the food service industry, students can take an exam to earn a certificate of achievement.
