  • General

    This course is an introduction to the English language and teaches basic communication skills.  Basic verb tenses and grammar are introduced.  Reading and writing skills are also practiced in this course.

    Standard(s):  1.1 The student will understand spoken English to participate in informal contexts.  2.1  The student will produce spoken English appropriately to participate in informal contexts. 3.1 The student will understand written English to participate in informal contexts.  4.1  The student will produce written English appropriately to participate in informal contexts.
